Dirty Deeds Laundry Co. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a laundry pickup, wash, fold, and delivery service based in Madison, Alabama. We operate at leavethedirtywork.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you place an order or create an account:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Pickup and delivery address
- Laundry preferences (detergent, temperature, fold style, etc.)
- Payment information (processed securely through Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
- Order history and service records
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process and fulfill your laundry orders
- Send order confirmations, pickup reminders, and delivery notifications via SMS and email
- Manage your subscription and billing
- Respond to customer support inquiries
- Improve our service and operations
4. SMS / Text Messaging
By providing your phone number and opting in during the order process, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Dirty Deeds Laundry Co. regarding your orders. These messages may include order confirmations, pickup reminders, status updates, and delivery notifications.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your order activity. You may receive up to 4–6 messages per pickup/delivery cycle.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates apply to all SMS messages.
To opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

We do not share, sell, or disclose your mobile phone number to third parties for their marketing purposes.
4a. Phone Calls & Recording
Calls to and from (256) 434-7878 may be recorded. You’ll hear an announcement at the start of the call. We record so we can remember what was agreed, resolve questions about an order, and train the people who answer.
If you call and we can’t answer, you can leave a voicemail. Voicemails are recorded and automatically transcribed to text so we can respond quickly.
Recordings, transcripts, and call history are stored securely and are only accessible to Dirty Deeds Laundry Co. staff. We do not share them with advertisers or sell them. If you’d prefer not to be recorded, tell us at the start of the call and we’ll continue by text or email instead, or email support@leavethedirtywork.com to request deletion of a recording.
Please don’t read payment card numbers aloud. All payments are handled securely by Stripe — we’ll send you a secure link instead.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with the following service providers so we can run our business:
- Stripe — secure payment processing
- Twilio — SMS delivery, phone calls, and call/voicemail recording and transcription
- Resend — email delivery
- Supabase — secure data storage
- Advertising and analytics platforms — Google, Meta, TikTok, and Microsoft, as described in Section 8 below
- Law enforcement or legal authorities when required by law
Our payment, SMS, email, and storage providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own marketing purposes. Advertising and analytics platforms are covered separately in Section 8, because they do use site-activity data for advertising measurement and targeting.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure data storage. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us at hello@leavethedirtywork.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
We use essential cookies to keep the site working and to remember your preferences as you move through the order form.
We also use the following third-party tools, which set cookies or similar technologies and collect information about how you use our site:
- Google Analytics — measures site traffic and how visitors navigate our pages. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Order information shared with Google. When you place an order, we send Google Analytics a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and phone number so that Google can measure which ads lead to orders and so we can show ads to people who started an order. The scrambling happens in your own browser, so Google never receives the details themselves. We do not send your name or your street address, and we have deliberately turned offGoogle’s option to detect this information automatically from our forms.
Google signals. We have enabled a Google feature called Google signals. If you are signed in to a Google account and have turned on Ads Personalization, Google may associate your visit to our site with that account. This lets us understand when the same person visits from more than one device, see general age and gender information about our visitors as a group, and show ads to people who have visited our site. You can review or turn this off at any time in Google My Ad Center or in your Google account’s Ads Personalization settings — that choice applies across every site that uses this feature, not just ours. - Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and TikTok Pixel — measure the performance of our advertising and allow us to show ads to people who have visited our site. These tools share information about your activity on our site with Meta and TikTok for advertising measurement and targeting. You can manage ad preferences in your Meta ad settings and your TikTok account settings.
Matching information shared with Meta. The Meta Pixel also uses a feature called automatic matching. If you enter certain details into a form on one of our marketing pages — such as your email address, name, or ZIP code — that information may be converted into a scrambled (hashed) value and sent to Meta so Meta can match you to a Meta account and better measure our ads. We have turned off the sharing of phone numbers and dates of birth through this feature. We do not load the Meta or TikTok Pixel at all on our order pages. The TikTok Pixel is not configured to send matching information of any kind.
Order information shared with Meta from our server. When you start or complete an order, our own server sends Meta a record of that event so we can measure which ads lead to orders and show ads to people who started an order but did not finish. That record contains a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address, phone number, and ZIP code, along with your IP address, browser type, and Meta’s own advertising cookies. Hashing means Meta receives a scrambled value rather than the details themselves. We share it so that Meta can match you to a Meta account in order to measure and target our ads; Meta’s own handling of it is governed by Meta’s Business Tools Terms and its data policy. We do not sell this information, and we do not send your name or your street address. To opt out, email us at hello@leavethedirtywork.com and we will stop sharing your information with advertising platforms. - Microsoft Clarity — records how visitors interact with our pages (clicks, scrolling, and page navigation) so we can improve the site. Clarity is configured to mask text entered into form fields, so information you type — such as your name, address, email, and phone number — is not captured in these recordings.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and many browsers support a “Do Not Track” or global privacy control signal. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of our site function.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some privacy laws — including in California — define the sharing of information with advertising platforms as a “sale” or “share.” If you would like us to stop sharing your information with advertising platforms, email us at hello@leavethedirtywork.com and we will honor your request.
We never share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of our service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
